About Me

I’m Kritika Sharma, an architect and interior designer passionate about creating spaces that are thoughtful, functional, and visually timeless.

My journey in design has taken me from studying and working in India to pursuing my Master of Architecture at Parsons School of Design in New York, followed by professional experience across both the United States and India. Over the years, I have worked on residential interiors, architectural projects, design development, documentation, and visualisation, gaining experience across different design environments, scales, and cultures.

Living and working in New York shaped the way I approach design. It taught me to look beyond aesthetics—to understand how a space functions, how people experience it, and how thoughtful details can transform everyday living. At the same time, my experience in India has given me a strong understanding of our local context, materials, lifestyles, and the way people connect with their spaces.

After gaining experience in New York, I returned to India with a vision of building something of my own—while also creating a platform where I could share what I have learned and make design knowledge more accessible to others.

I believe design education should not be limited to classrooms. Through my work, content, and educational initiatives, I want to help students, aspiring designers, and anyone interested in design understand architecture and interiors in a simpler, more practical, and engaging way.

Krea Studios

That vision became Krea Studios—my architecture and interior design practice.

I founded Krea Studios with the belief that good design should be personal, purposeful, and beautifully resolved. Every space has its own story, and my role is to translate that story into a design that feels authentic to the people who experience it.

At Krea Studios, I work across architecture, interior design, design documentation, and visualisation, collaborating with clients and design professionals to take ideas from an initial concept to a thoughtfully designed space.

Beyond design services, Krea Studios is also a platform for learning, exploring, and sharing ideas about architecture and interiors. From design concepts and technical knowledge to portfolio guidance and practical insights, I want to make the world of design easier to understand and navigate.

My approach is rooted in clarity, creativity, functionality, and attention to detail—bringing together the global perspective I gained in New York with the context and character of India.

For me, architecture is not simply about creating beautiful spaces.

It is about creating spaces that feel right, work well, and have meaning.
